The CPI K4S8 is a 3000W S-Band GEN IV klystron power amplifier. It delivers 2.5 kW minimum from the klystron (3.0 kW at 2.6 GHz) and 2.0 kW at the flange (2.66 kW at 2.6 GHz), in frequency ranges from 1.6 to 2.7 GHz. A 1.2 kW, 25 MHz-bandwidth version is also available.
It runs on three-phase 208 or 380–415 VAC (10.0 kW max.), with separate RF and power supply drawers; the RF drawer is larger below 2.1 GHz. Output power is adjustable over 20 dB in 0.1 dB steps.
