The CPI K4D8 is a 2400W DBS-Band TouchPower GEN IV klystron power amplifier. It delivers 1.7 to 2.4 kW from the klystron and 1.4 to 2.0 kW minimum at the flange, depending on model, across 17.3–18.4, 17.3–18.1 or 16.7–17.5 GHz, with 40 to 85 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth.
Up to 12 preset channels come standard (up to 50 with CPI's digital fast tuner system), with 75 dB minimum gain. It runs on 208 or 380–415 VAC (8.5 kW max.), with a touchscreen front panel and separate RF and power supply drawers.
