The CPI K4C7 is a 3350W C-Band GEN IV klystron power amplifier. It delivers 3.35 kW from the klystron and 2.88 kW minimum at the flange (3.00 / 2.57 kW with the 80 MHz option) across 5.850–6.425 or 5.850–6.725 GHz, or 3.00 / 2.57 kW across 6.425–7.075 GHz.
Its multi-stage depressed collector klystron and power saver feature cut prime power to 4.9–9.4 kW depending on backoff, and the KPA's MTBF is nearly 90,000 hours. It runs on three-phase 208 or 380/415 VAC, with separate RF and power supply drawers.
