The CPI MPXB81250M is a 1250W X-Band modular SSPA system from CPI's ModuMAX line. It delivers 1250W typical saturated (+61.0 dBm) and 1072W minimum at 1 dB compression (+60.3 dBm) across the 7.900–8.400 GHz X-band, configured for low-PIM multi-carrier operation.
The RF modules, power supplies and electronic assemblies are hot-swappable plug-ins, so maintenance doesn't take the uplink off air. It runs on 180–264 VAC single or three phase, drawing 7.0 kW typ., 9.0 kW max. (cold start at 0 °C, saturated), with 65 dB min., 70 dB max. gain and 20 dB of digital adjustment. This power level uses two power supply units.
