The CPI MPKO14500M / MPKM14500M is a 500W Ku-Band modular SSPA system from CPI's ModuMAX line. It delivers 500W typical saturated (+57.0 dBm) and 400W minimum at 1 dB compression (+56.2 dBm) across 14.00–14.50 GHz (MPKM) or the extended 13.75–14.50 GHz band (MPKO).
The RF modules, power supplies and electronic assemblies are hot-swappable plug-ins, so maintenance doesn't take the uplink off air. It runs on 180–264 VAC single or three phase, drawing 5.4 kW typ., 7.2 kW max. (cold start at 0 °C, saturated), with 65 dB min., 70 dB max. gain and 20 dB of digital adjustment.
