The Terrasat Tx 1:1 redundancy system protects a transmit chain with two IBUCs, an L-band interface module and a waveguide switch, shipped assembled and pre-tested on a common plate. The interface module splits the L-band, 10 MHz and FSK signals to both IBUCs and switches to the standby unit on a fault, with Ethernet M&C and an optional Cyber Hardened controller.
