The iDirect Mesh Receiver lets an iQ Series, 9 Series or X7 modem act as a node in an Evolution multi-carrier mesh network. It receives several carriers at once, so a site can serve as a regional gateway, and the modem and receiver together form a 2RU remote. Mesh networks cut latency for site-to-site traffic such as voice, SCADA and telco extension where terrestrial links are too costly.
