The ST Engineering iDirect MCX8000 (successor to the MCX7000) is a multi-carrier DVB-S2X gateway for DTH, distribution to towers, headends and OTT. One or two modem boards give up to four carriers at 256 ksps to 133 Msps each and up to 550 Mbps, with an optional integrated 1+1 redundancy switch and Equalink 3 pre-distortion.
