ST Engineering iDirect has discontinued the Newtec EL830 Elevation PEP-Box Gateway. It is no longer built, but Digisat still supports installed units and can recommend and supply a current replacement.
The Newtec EL830 PEP-Box Gateway is a Performance Enhancing Proxy (PEP) appliance that combines a number of advanced traffic enhancement and shaping functionalities for the end points of point-to-point and point-to-multipoint satellite IP network, such as IP trunking networks. The 830 Series PEP-Box terminal is to be used in conjunction with the EL840 PEP-Box Server at the other end of the transmission link.
