The Sencore DMP 900, developed by Wellav and now sold and supported by Sencore, is a modular headend platform in a 1RU chassis with six hot-swappable module slots. Modules cover satellite (DVB-S/S2), cable and terrestrial reception, CI and BISS descrambling, encoding and transcoding, multiplexing, scrambling, and QAM and other modulation, so any input can be routed to any output. It replaces the earlier Wellav UMH and SMP encoders, IRDs, transcoders and QAM processors.
