Product details

The Quintech RP1 is a modular 1RU chassis for centralized LNB power and signal redundancy. Its eight hot-swappable card slots take any mix of dual LNB Bias-T power inserters (up to 16), 2x1 RF-sensing LNB redundancy switches with Q-SENSE (up to 8), or switchable DC power outputs (up to 16). Redundant power supplies and a field-replaceable fan keep it running, and it is controlled through a web GUI, SNMP or Quintech's API.

Key features

  • Eight hot-swappable card slots in 1RU
  • Dual LNB Bias-T cards: 0/13/18 VDC with 22 kHz tone per port
  • 2x1 RF-sensing LNB redundancy switch cards (Q-SENSE)
  • LNB status monitoring: under-current, short and normal
  • 10 MHz reference distributed to all slots
  • 700–3000 MHz versions
  • Redundant hot-swap power supplies and field-replaceable fan
  • Web browser, SNMP or TCP/IP API control

Frequently asked questions

How does the RP1 decide when to switch LNBs?

The 2x1 redundancy cards sense RF level (-50 to 0 dBm) and LNB current, and switch to the backup path when the primary fails.

Which frequency range should I order?

Cards come in 950–2150, 950–2500 and 700–3000 MHz versions. Tell us your LNB band and Digisat will specify the right cards.
