Product details

MFC C-band interference rejection filters pass the satellite downlink while blocking WiMAX, radar, 5G and terrestrial microwave signals that overload LNBs and LNAs. They mount directly on the feed between the OMT and the LNB. The MFC 7893D has a 3700-4200 MHz passband, 0.4 dB typ. insertion loss, 60 dB rejection and CPR229G (IN) / CPR229F / OUT flanges.

Key features

  • Passband (MHz): 3700/4200
  • Passband Loss: 0.4 dB TYP @ Fo 0.5 dB APPROX ROLL OFF @ PASSBAND EDGES
  • VSWR / Return Loss: 1.44:1 MAX / 14.9 dB MIN
  • Group Delay Variation: 8 nS TYP
  • Rejection: 60 dB @ 3550 / 4350 MHz, 70 dB @ 3500 / 4400 MHz

Frequently asked questions

Which MFC filter do I need for 5G interference at a C-band earth station?

It depends on where your satellite carriers sit and how strong the nearby 5G signals are. MFC 21000-series and 5G mitigation filters pass the upper C-band downlink with steep rejection below it; tell us your carrier frequencies and antenna and Digisat will recommend the passband and flange configuration.

Does Digisat supply Microwave Filter Company (MFC) filters?

Yes. Digisat supplies MFC satcom, RF and microwave filters and components with quote-based pricing for teleports, broadcasters, government and enterprise buyers, and our engineers can help identify the interference at your site and choose the right filter for your antenna, LNB or transmitter.

Need it installed, aligned or supported?

Digisat engineers install, commission and maintain satellite ground systems for government agencies, teleports and broadcasters worldwide. Request installation or engineering support.
