The Kratos NGC2-004 beacon receiver measures a satellite beacon from 70 to 6,000 MHz in real time with FFT-based DSP and feeds the level straight to the NGC2 tracking controller. It is built into the NGC2-IDU or supplied as a standalone 1RU unit, in single-channel, dual-channel and monopulse versions, and it stores beacon settings per satellite so the receiver retunes itself whenever the antenna moves to a new satellite.
