Product details

The PL700 Main Control Processor (MCP) is the central management unit for Sat-Light Platinum Series RF over Fiber systems, enabling unified control of optical transmission cards, redundancy switches, power modules, and communication interfaces. It provides SNMP-based remote management combined with CLI, RS-232, and web-based access for complete system-level visibility. Designed for PL7010C sub-rack environments, it ensures centralized monitoring and control of all installed modules within the chassis architecture. The PL700 MCP functions as the centralized intelligence layer of the Sat-Light Platinum Series architecture. System interaction is delivered through an integrated SNMP engine combined with a graphical interface that presents chassis components in a real-time visual layout. This enables monitoring of operational status, alarm conditions, and RF/optical performance parameters across installed modules. The platform supports controlled configuration management, firmware distribution, and event tracking, ensuring structured lifecycle control of RF over Fiber deployments. Enterprise compatibility is enabled through SNMPv2c and MIB-based architecture, supporting integration with third-party network management systems used in large-scale telecom and broadcast environments.
