Product details
The Evertz 5800MSC, sold through Quintech, is a master sync, time code, PTP and test signal generator for SDI, IP and hybrid facilities. It produces black burst, tri-level sync, word clock, DARS, LTC/IRIG and 10 MHz, and acts as a PTP root leader with SMPTE ST 2059-2, AES67 and IEEE 1588 Annex J profiles. A multi-constellation GNSS receiver with jamming and spoofing mitigation, an OCXO, and hot-swap power and fans keep timing stable.
Key features
- PTP root leader: SMPTE ST 2059-2, AES67, IEEE 1588 Annex J
- Black burst, HD tri-level, word clock, DARS, LTC and IRIG outputs
- 10 MHz and 5 MHz CW outputs
- GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS receiver with anti-jam/anti-spoof
- High-stability OCXO
- Field-installable option modules
- REST API, NMOS and SNMP v1/v3; redundant hot-swap power and fans

Frequently asked questions
Can the 5800MSC provide a 10 MHz reference for satcom equipment?
Yes. It has 10 MHz (and 5 MHz) CW outputs locked to GNSS, alongside its broadcast sync and PTP outputs.
Need it installed, aligned or supported?
Digisat engineers install, commission and maintain satellite ground systems for government agencies, teleports and broadcasters worldwide. Request installation or engineering support.
