Product details
The CPI UB61047 is a 50W X-Band GaAs block upconverter (BUC) from CPI's UB61x47 line. It delivers +46.0 dBm (40W) minimum and +47.2 dBm (about 52W) typical output power across 7.90–8.40 GHz, from a 950–1450 MHz L-band input.
It provides 60 or 70 dB minimum gain, internal image filtering, an RF sample port and integral monitoring and alarms, and runs on +48 VDC or 90–264 VAC (320W typical). The compact 16 lb package mounts on the antenna, indoors or out, from -40 °C to +60 °C.
Order it as UB61x47; a 30W version, UB61x45, is also available.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between the UB61x45 and UB61x47?
They're the same compact X-band BUC at two power levels: the UB61x45 is rated 30W (+44.0 dBm min.) and the UB61x47 is rated 50W (+46.0 dBm min., +47.2 dBm typ.). Power consumption is 300W and 320W typical.
Does it need an external reference?
Yes. The LO locks to a 10 MHz reference at 0 dBm ±5 dB supplied on the Type N IF input, which most modems provide.
Need it installed, aligned or supported?
Digisat engineers install, commission and maintain satellite ground systems for government agencies, teleports and broadcasters worldwide. Request installation or engineering support.
