Product details
The CPI MBC-1 UCBX is a 1:1 redundant C-Band block upconverter system from CPI's Modular Block Converter (MBC) line. It converts 950–1825 MHz to 5.85–6.725 GHz with a 4.90 GHz LO, and the modules lock automatically to an external 5 or 10 MHz reference or fall back to a high-stability internal reference.
Converter modules, dual power supplies, logic card and touchscreen hot-swap from the front panel, and in a redundant system the backup switches in automatically on loss of lock or a module fault. Output P1dB is +15 dBm minimum, gain is adjustable over 25 dB in 0.1 dB steps, and the 2 RU chassis has SNMP, HTTPS and serial control.
Order it as MBC-1 UCBX-X; the suffix selects Type N (standard) or SMA rear-panel connectors. The MBC Upconverter Series comes in 4 listed models; compare them on the series page.
Other models in this series
- MBC-2-UCBX: C-band, 1:2
- MBC-1-UKBX: Ku-band, 1:1
- MBC-2-UKBX: Ku-band, 1:2
