Product details
The CPI DPCD6400R / DPCM6400R is a 400W C-Band rack-mount SSPA from CPI's DPC6400R line. It delivers 400W saturated (+56 dBm) and 320W minimum at 1 dB compression (+55.2 dBm) across 5.85–6.425 GHz (DPCD6400R) or the extended 5.85–6.725 GHz band (DPCM6400R).
Built with technology from CPI's ModuMAX amplifiers, it has a modular architecture covering the RF modules, power supplies, logic, fans and front panel, with 70 dB minimum gain, forward and reflected power monitoring, and integral 1:1 redundancy control. It runs on 90–135 or 180–270 VAC (2000W typical) in a 19 in, 8.75 in high chassis.
Order it as DPCD6400R (standard band) or DPCM6400R (extended band).

Frequently asked questions
Can I set these up as a 1:1 or 1:2 redundant system?
Yes. Each SSPA has integral 1:1 redundancy control, and CPI builds 1:1 and 1:2 redundant systems around them. The RCP-2001 remote panel adds control from another location. Digisat can supply, install and commission the complete system.
How much rack space and power does it need?
It's a 19 in rack chassis, 8.75 in (222 mm) high and 27.88 in deep, weighing about 93 lb. It runs on 90–135 VAC or 180–270 VAC and draws about 2000W typically, up to 2400W at a cold start in saturation.
Need it installed, aligned or supported?
Digisat engineers install, commission and maintain satellite ground systems for government agencies, teleports and broadcasters worldwide. Request installation or engineering support.
