Product details
The Comtech LBC-4000 converts between L-band (950–2000 MHz, 2150 MHz optional) and a 70 MHz (140 MHz optional) IF, so legacy 70/140 MHz modems can work with L-band block converters. Its 1RU chassis holds two front-accessible up or down converter modules with dual OR-ed power supplies; the LBC-4000-ST version holds one module and adds front-panel sample ports.
Key features
- Meets or exceeds MIL-STD-188-164A
- Two hot-swap up or down converter modules
- 70 ±18 MHz IF (140 ±36 MHz optional)
- 950–2000 MHz L-band (950–2150 MHz optional), 1 kHz steps
- 50 dB gain adjustment; field-selectable spectral inversion
- Internal or external 5/10 MHz reference; redundant option
