Comtech has discontinued the CDM-800 Advanced VSAT Series TDM RAN Backhaul Gateway IP Router. It is no longer built, but Digisat still supports installed units and can recommend and supply a current replacement.
The Comtech CDM-800 TDM RAN Backhaul Gateway Router supports industry-leading header compression for IP traffic on a per route basis. Header compression can reduce the 40 byte IP/UDP/RTP header to as little as 1 byte.
