The Calian Defender keeps unauthorized users off satellite transponders by filling unused spectrum with carriers of its own. One 1RU unit generates up to 32 independent, frequency-agile DVB-S/S2/S2X carriers of up to 30 Msps each across 950 to 1750 MHz, each with its own power level, so empty bandwidth no longer invites misuse and NOC staff spend less time chasing it.
