Product details
The Calian Beacon Generator sends a clean BPSK-modulated ID signal to the satellite to give a known ground reference for accurate antenna pointing. It selects one of 15 GOLD codes as its ID, outputs at L-band (950–1750 MHz) to drive a Ku- or Ka-band block upconverter, and is controlled from the front panel, a web GUI or an Ethernet API.
Key features
- BPSK beacon with 15 selectable GOLD-code IDs
- L-band output 950–1750 MHz for a Ku/Ka BUC
- External 10 MHz reference input
- Front panel, web GUI and Ethernet API; alarm contact
- FPGA baseband supports other modulations
