Xicom XTD amplifiers are compact, self-contained traveling wave tube amplifiers that mount directly on the antenna, removing the need for an amplifier shelter and a long, lossy waveguide run. RF filters, cooling and monitor and control are built in, high-efficiency dual-stage-collector TWTs keep prime power and internal temperatures down, and units run in 1:1, 1:2 or 1:N redundant systems.

Frequently asked questions
Why mount the TWTA on the antenna?
Putting the amplifier at the feed avoids a long waveguide run, so more of its power reaches the antenna and no shelter is needed.
Need it installed, aligned or supported?
Digisat engineers install, commission and maintain satellite ground systems for government agencies, teleports and broadcasters worldwide. Request installation or engineering support.
