Frequently asked questions
What replaces my iDirect X1, X3, X5 or X7?
The iQ Desktop+ replaces the X1 and X3 desktop routers, and the iQ 200 Rackmount replaces the X5, X7 and e8350 rack units. They run on the same Evolution and Velocity hubs; your network operator confirms the software release needed.
Can an iQ modem join a mesh network?
Yes. With the iDirect Mesh Receiver, an iQ Series modem can act as a node in an Evolution multi-carrier mesh network.
Need it installed, aligned or supported?
Digisat engineers install, commission and maintain satellite ground systems for government agencies, teleports and broadcasters worldwide. Request installation or engineering support.
