Communication Signal Interference Removal (CSIR) removes interferers and jammers from a communications signal in real time, before it reaches the receiver, so the demodulator never sees them. It handles everything from CW to multiple strong interferers with no prior knowledge of them; it needs only the approximate carrier frequency and symbol rate. CSIR works with linear-modulated waveforms that use FEC and has been applied to SATCOM, HF radio, UHF SATCOM and GPS. CSIR Pro is a single-channel L-band appliance or integrator board; CSIR Pro Plus is a 1RU appliance in UHF, HF and L-band variants.
Key features
- Real-time interference and jammer excision
- No prior knowledge of the interferer needed
- Mitigates CW through multiple strong interferers
- Inserts into any receive chain, any modem
- Stationary, maritime and airborne networks

Frequently asked questions
Does CSIR work with my existing modem?
Yes. CSIR sits in the receive chain ahead of the demodulator and works with third-party modems; it only needs the approximate carrier frequency and symbol rate.
Need it installed, aligned or supported?
Digisat engineers install, commission and maintain satellite ground systems for government agencies, teleports and broadcasters worldwide. Request installation or engineering support.
