Agilis redundancy control units protect a transmit or receive chain against a single BUC or LNB failure, switching automatically to the hot-standby unit. The 1:1 system pairs one online and one standby unit; the 2:1 system (AAV620) keeps two BUCs or LNBs online with one in standby, driving two waveguide switches. Both support C, X, Ku and Ka-band, accept redundant power inputs, and come as outdoor units or indoor rackmount controllers.

Frequently asked questions
Do Agilis high-power BUCs need an external controller?
No. Agilis BUCs of 80W and above have redundancy built in and can run 1:1 without an external controller. The RCU is used for lower-power BUCs, LNBs and 2:1 configurations.
Need it installed, aligned or supported?
